Aluminium TIG welder — Beaver County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Beaver County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
