HSE supervisor wanted in Barry County

Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
