Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. You will work on a new-build development. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 1+ years on the tools preferred.
