Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Piscataquis County, Maine. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
