Your main tasks: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application You should have: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Full-time with occasional weekends.
