Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based on an industrial coating line. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Day-to-day duties: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks Part-time with flexible hours.
