Immediate opening: precision welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Schleicher County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
