The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
