Sample machinist wanted in El Paso County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in El Paso County, Colorado. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Rotating shifts.
