Tower crane operator — Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Union County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
