Ironing operator — Ozaukee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
