Packaging machine operator — Davis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Davis County, Iowa. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. On a typical shift you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
