Horizontal milling machine operator — Whiteside County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Whiteside County, Illinois. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
