Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
