Concrete worker — Peoria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength.
