Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in San Diego County, California. On the job you will handle: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Six days a week, one day off.
