Moulder wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Franklin County, Virginia. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
