CNC mill setter-operator • Columbia County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Columbia County, New York. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Full-time with occasional weekends.
