Sewing machine operator — East Ayrshire

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
