Lift technician — Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Adams County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy lift company. The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Six days a week, one day off. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
