Structural MIG welder — Cooper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Cooper County, Missouri. The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
