QC technician • Orange County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a QC technician in Orange County, Indiana. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
