Solid plasterer — Windham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Windham County, Vermont. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Day to day you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
