Brick mason — Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Douglas County, Kansas. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Six days a week, one day off.
