Road roller operator — Searcy County

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Searcy County, Arkansas. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
