Flatlock machine operator — Cattaraugus County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Cattaraugus County, New York. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
