Scaffolding erector — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Jackson County, Minnesota. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Your main tasks: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
