Panel painter • Columbus County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel painter in Columbus County, North Carolina. You will be based in a spray booth. The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to read and match factory paint codes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
