Meat cutter — Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Potter County, South Dakota. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Full-time, day shift.
