Lift mechanic — McDowell County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in McDowell County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
