Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Benton County, Iowa. You will work on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
