Brick and block layer wanted in Perry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Perry County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off.
