Join our team: foundry labourer (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Douglas County, Illinois. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
