Lift technician • McLean County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in McLean County, Illinois. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
