On a typical shift you will screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away. Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Rotating shifts.
