Thermal insulation technician — Winnebago County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks 4+ years on the tools preferred.
