Ironing operator — Mifflin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
