Trailer driver • Union County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trailer driver in Union County, Iowa. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
