Safety marshal — Simpson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Simpson County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
