Tiling assistant — Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Lawrence County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
