Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Ingham County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production 2+ years on the tools preferred.
