Fabrication workshop technician • Travis County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Travis County, Texas. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine The role involves drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam.
