Urgent requirement: power float operator (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Johnson County, Tennessee. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. You will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
