Mechanical press operator — Hamblen County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will be based on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
