Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Pierce County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Pierce County, Wisconsin. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
