Powder coating technician — Gladwin County

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Gladwin County, Michigan. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. The role involves keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime 5+ years on the tools preferred.
