Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Elbert County, Colorado. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
