Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Kent County, Michigan. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
