Shuttering carpenter — Houston County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Houston County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
