Toolroom milling operator — Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Roane County, Tennessee. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Part-time with flexible hours.
